There is some truth to those movies about secret private agencies that protect the people from international evil-doings β Charlie's Angels, Kingsman, James Bond, even Austin Powers. Ziu Lian, trained since she was barely a teenager, is part of an elite global squad of highly-trained instructors, weapons experts, long-suffering handlers. Agents who are not stationed at their base in China, are often working undercover with side-jobs that allow them to move amongst civilians.
They are sent on missions to protect world leaders, scientists or their experiments, uncover nefarious plans, and most importantly, keep civilians safe.
Lian, born in China and raised in Hong Kong, New York, and Paris, speaks seven languages ( her accent is mysterious and difficult to place ), is an accomplished gymnast and dancer, and has a knack for blending into crowds. Her roundhouse kick is dangerous and her lightly freckled face is disarming. One of her favorite things to do on the job is to get on her motorcycle or hop into the cockpit of an aircraft.
The Big Boss had seen something in her early on though many of her peers find her to either to be too foolish or too much of rule-breaker, even if she always wraps up her missions with a neat little bow. Lian is scatterbrained yet somehow incredibly genius in her plans and couldn't get anywhere without her other half. This has been a difficult transition for her after the disappearance of her previous partner, deemed MIA.
She loves sleeping outdoors, boy bands, her mum's brisket noodles, iced milk tea, and buying hair accessories. Her family βΒ and the general public β believes her to be studying abroad and training for gymnastics, though her younger brother suspects something else might be going on...
